Taking a look at the other side, wondering what we can fashion to patch up the bottom portion of the inner-inner well. Also what caught our eye, is the kink in the fuel line ... that will be address lateron, if we don't junk the car first. We begin to cut and grind up some shapes of metal for our patches.

Got the one patch piece in there with a magent to hold it in piece. Weld & then grind to finish.

Welded inplace ... and still needs to be cleaned up alittle. Once again, there is blood at the workshop ... and it's mine! ... just a little boo-boo this time.
Note: I have never ever welded before this project, so I'm learning as I go along ...

Second patch piece is made and welded in. Kelly is seen here cleaning up from my poor welding skills.

Shelly came out to give us a hand and also to learn some bodyworking skills so she can do some work to her Chevelle. (GORGEOUS CAR!!). Shelly and Kelly are here cleaning up the wheel-well, after Kelly drilled some holes in the lip for us to use when we weld it up.
A picture of some of the patch work needed on the inner-wheel well, as well, my welding skill seems to be improving alittle. Glenn also came out into the garage to check on our progress (and to make sure we weren't burning anything down).

Here we are now trimming and making our final cut to the old quarter and Shelly cleaning out the cut along the new wheel well so they it can be welded.

Just before this step, we trimmed the old wheel well alittle as we had MORE then enough metal and felt it'd be best to trim it up alittle.
All the welding to the patch panelling is done, and once again, we do another test fit and then we used some wled-thru primer and painted over the metal.

Once again, we paused while I took a moment to donate blood. DAMNIT!, 3 days, 3 cuts ... WAY TO JINX ME KYLE!! (jerk!)

After fitting in the wheel well and clamp it into place, I began to tack it in. As well, Shelly was given a chance to do some welding again. Shelly really picked up on this welding bit and was doing a fantastic job, even making me look bad ...
