Project 'Slomega'

A few pictures of the bumper once install, which you can notice the clearence difference on the side with the pass. quarter being out abit. To install the Pass. marker light, we had to remove the outside trim piece so it would fit inside the bumper.

Putting all the interior back into the car.

Sealed up the quarters along the rockers, and a slight tear in the drivers door panel which happened when it caught on the metal edge when the rear inside panel was removed and tore when I opened the door.

Thanks to a friend for getting me a 'D' plate, the Omega makes it journey back into Winnipeg and it being stored over at Shelly's place where we have a few more items to take care of before the big 'safety' check.

I continue to put the interior back in, reinstalling the door panels. Shelly's dog Cleo decides to supervisor my efforts.

My friend Clint stops by to help me temporarly patch up the holes in the doors. We begin with the passenger side door.

My sister came with him, as Clint told her he'd only be about 20 mins. He prepares his bodyworking tools. After struggling to get the Auto Body Filler can open, we discovered it had dried up completely. Glenn had given me the can to use up before I left Selkirk.

Using some steel wool to quickly fill in the hole, we mix up some Dyna-Hair Fibreglass and add some hardener.

Watching Clint here, I'm taking notes (and pictures) so I will be able to continue on afterwards with patching up some small rust holes. Apply mixture to the door and let dry.
