Project 'Slomega'

Using fibreglass (Yes, I'm playing with the fibreglass again) patching up the firewall/cowl area. Sanded it down and make it look somewhat decent and then primed it.

Also used a fibreglass patch from the inside of the cowl side too. Thought I'd take some time to detail and clean a spare wiper motor that came with the car while everything dries.

After the primer dries, I then pull out the Rubberized Rock Guard to kinda hide the patch that was made & placed there.

Next on the detailing list will be the brake booster & master cylinder. Fixed up the wiper washer pump where I broke a small little wire from the transformer, but after some lil' modifications, the wiper system is FULLY functional. Good thing for the spare motor & pump, I had to use the pump to get it working.

Now to deal with the bumper. Instead of making plates like the ones originally used, I ended up getting some muffler clamps and use some cardboard to hold them in place.

I believe the passenger side is done ... or atleast the welding and grinding part. I reprimed the quarter afterwards.

Using the stensil we cut out of the original quarter, we outline where the Omega marker light should go and make the cut.

After cutting out the pattern, some filing is in order to get the marker light lense to fit, however it would take forever to file, so out comes the grinder again.

After bolting in the marker light and trim, we discovered a small problem. There seem to be a bit of a gap between the taillight panel and the marker light.
