Piston installation continues ...

After installing #2, something didn't feel right to Dan. Dan investigated further and filed the rod down abit, because it was binding.

It took some time, as Dan is very finicky but he fixes everything up!

While installing #8, one of the oil rings breaks.

#8, with the broken ring. Stopped by Piston Ring to buy a new ring, but they only sell them in sets.

Walked across to the street to KEN MURRAYS Machine Shop. Ken was kind enough to sell me 2 rings.

Big Thank you to Ken and Ken Murrays Machine Shop !!

Time to install the Double Roller Timing Chain.

Timing Chain, cam button and Timing Cover installed.

Dan installs a Standard Volume Oil Pump. After everything is in place and everything triple-checked, the bottom end is button'd up!

A new balancer was ordered. Old one had a good size groove in it, and I've never had luck sleeving them in the past.
