New replacement Scat crank for the block.

Few pictures of the clean block, ready for build!

Spring time aprroachs and I'm bitten by the car-bug. Over the winter, as I saved some pennies ... I seeked out Dan Klim, a fellow car enthusiasts and ENGINE GOD!!.

Dan has helped me out many times in the past with Engine work/machining on my 73 Nova. I know Dan knows his shit and will rely on his services, his judgement to build a nice 355 for the Omega.

Dan wastes NO time getting to work. Installs the Oil Gallery plugs and Frost Plugs.

Altho it may not matter, but Dan's attention to detail is WELL appreciated. All frost plugs were installed with the markings facing up. Dan is a perfectionist and will not cut corners.

Cylinders quickly honed, and cam bearings installed. Main bearings are also placed in the block.

Lube up the main bearings before installing the Scat replacement crank into the block.

Main Caps installed and torqued down.

Dan installs the piston rings onto the pistons.

Rod bearings are placed on the rods, lubed up good and pistons installed into the engine block.
